Delete your What2Cook account

Ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it.

How to request deletion

1. Enter the email address on your What2Cook account below and submit the form.
2. We will email that address to verify the request is yours. Reply to confirm.
3. Once verified, we delete your account within 30 days and email you when it is done.

What we delete

• Your name, email address and sign-in details.
• Your language, meal preferences and daily selections.
• Your saved recipes, searches and recipe activity.
• Your device tokens for push notifications.
• Your feedback messages linked to your account.

What we keep

• A record of your deletion request (email and date), as proof we handled it.
• Information we must keep to meet legal obligations.
• Anonymised or aggregated statistics that cannot identify you.
• Encrypted backups, which are overwritten in our normal backup cycle.

Cannot use the form?

Email support@alterside.io from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify and process it the same way. You can also delete the app from your phone, but that alone does not delete your account data.
